10 key reasons to upgrade!

SDL Trados Studio 2009 bought users a host of innovative features to help them translate more efficiently.  Below you will find a selection of great reasons to upgrade to SDL Trados Studio 2011.    Working the same way as Microsoft Word, its now easy to keep track of changes made, who has made them and then accept or reject them as necessary
   
2. New! MS Word Spell Check
   Spell checking functionality is now enhanced with the introduction of MS Word spell checker to deliver better and more consistent spelling in even more languages, giving you more confidence in your translations
3. New! Display Filters
   Discover how you can speed up your review and sign-off processes with enhanced display filters that make review even easier
4. New! Enhanced QA checker
   The QA process has now been improved. A new wizard guides you through the review process highlighting all error messages in sequence without the need to click on each message
5. New! Review Outside Studio
   You can now send translated files to subject matter experts for review in MS Word. The files can then be imported back into Studio with all changes and comments higlighted. Now everyone can review!
6. New! File Filters
   We continuously add new file filters meaning that you never have to turn away a project because of file incompatibility
7. New! Bilingual Word Filter
   Now you can open legacy Trados bilingual Word documents in Studio allowing you to leverage even more assets
8. New! MultiTerm Widget
   Access your own terminology and combine it with online resources and dictionaries to ensure accurate authoring and translations
9. New! Pseudo-Translation
   This new feature helps you to quickly produce localized files to test for potential problems or faults in your project files
10. And not forgetting all the existing features that make SDL Trados Studio so good!
    AutoSuggest™, Quickplace™, Context Match™, Real time preview and QA checkers are still included so that translators and project mangers alike can turn projects around quicker than ever.

How to upgrade

Upgrading to SDL Trados Studio 2011 is simple.

Where do I go to upgrade?
Visit the upgrade page in the Translationzone shop and make the correct selection taking care to choose the product you are upgrading from and the product you'd like to upgrade to.

How do I make a purchase?
Once you have made a selection click on the buy now button and select any training or other products that you may wish to buy then proceed to check out. If you are a returning customer you’ll be asked for your email address and password to login to your account, (new customers will be asked to create a new account). Once this has been done you will be asked if you wish to place your order and what method of payment you wish to use. When you have paid for your software you will be taken to a page where all the information will be displayed on how to download and activate your license.
