Description
This translation provider uses the Microsoft Translator API, with added features.
Features:
- A user can translate 2M characters/month at no charge after signing up for the Microsoft Translator API.
-The latest version includes the option to skip the Microsoft signup and use the API anonymously, in which case post-edited segments are sent back to Microsoft to train its MT engine.
- The default setting is to not re-send translated segments: only sends segments with a 'Not Translated' segment status; conveniently navigate through your document or review it without increasing your character usage. This is now optional and can be changed in the settings form.
- Option to redact sensitive text (experimental): the ability to create/edit a list of words, names, or other phrases to be excluded from the text sent to Microsoft. The new version includes an editor for creating and editing these files conveniently. You can also specify a different replacement text for each different word/phrase to replace.
- Text-only option: gives you the option of sending and receiving text only, and no tags
